Frangipani introduces digital newspapers for guests

Frangipani Beach Resort brings PressReader to guests

Creating a sustainable, environmentally-friendly resort is continually top of mind at the Frangipani Beach Resort. Guests who have stayed with us before will recall the reusable Frangipani-logoed water bottles that we provide to help reduce waste in Anguilla. Beyond that, we use a reverse osmosis plant that helps provide water to the property and have future plans to integrate solar and wind energy.

Our newest addition to the eco-friendly family of Frangipani amenities? PressReaderIn lieu of our traditional New York Times offering, we’ve upped the ante with a digital app that allows guests to access 2000 full-content international and local newspapers and magazines from over 100 countries. From Albania to Zimbabwe and everywhere in between, there’s plenty to keep you up-to-speed while you’re lying beachfront on Meads Bay.

If you’re traveling with your own mobile device, you can download PressReader beforehand and have access as soon as you step on-site at the resort (it’s available for Android, Blackberry, iOS, MacOS and Windows platforms). Select your country and your publication, and then download! Once it’s downloaded, you’ll be able to access the publication offline. Leaving your mobile device at home? We’ve got you covered. We will be stocking the resort with our own mini arsenal of devices for folks looking for a morning newspaper fix — we’re happy to let you borrow one to get your daily dose.

      Hi Kate,

We’re trying to move away from paper as much as possible since there’s no real recycling program in Anguilla. I believe we’re going to still offer the NYT Crossword puzzles in paper form though since we get some requests for those! Looking forward to seeing you over the holidays!
